Happy Juneteenth and father's day!

Although slavery is not illegal in the us (google it) and still unfortunately happens daily all over Juneteenth is an important day for black Americans. Enslaved black people were not told of their emancipation until June 19th (Juneteenth), 1865.

Today is a day to honor our ancestors who fought so hard for us to be where we are today.

Black people have gone through and still go through so much from discrimination, racism, sexism. Support black businesses if you can (not just on certain days), share black art and books and movies. Please help fight for the truth to be taught in schools (look at cover ups and lies in history books) and for educational books to stop being banned because someone was offended. History is going to be tough to read about but banning it is only another way for history to repeat itself and for people to be naive to the truth.

Black people are not here only for other's entertainment, sexual pleasures and desires, and stepping stools. We deserve love and respect as do others.
